Not using ad blockers, no. But I'd imagine they're leaving the default 'block pop-ups' setting turned on in Safari.

We have several people in our newsroom who are having the issue on their phones. And at least one person have it on his Mac desktop too.

I've just not been able to wrap my head around display priorities. Our homepage centerpiece and top stories modules have obscure query rules that purposely don't pull in any content. And we pin everything from there.

Right now BLOX basically says newsrooms can only update stories once every 5 minutes -- IF you want everyone who clicks the story to see the latest content, regardless of when they last loaded the article. In breaking news situations, that doesn't cut. I've seen us update a stories 5 times in 5 minutes. While I appreciate BLOX's caching system to keep sites up and running, I'd love a happy medium.
