Yep, you can do this! Simply enter "today" for both To: and From: under Start Date, like so:
Then, you can save your search for later use:

Not sure what to make of this. You should be seeing those icons when you're in the the template editor. I think the quickest way to get this figured out will be to give our customer support folks a call or put in a ticket. If you create a ticket, please be sure to include your browser and operating system.
