I'd really, really like this. I notice it's been "under review" for three years. Any chance it's going to happen?

I made a mock-up of how I wanted things to collapse back when we were in the design stages of our site, too. I can share that if it's useful to see what it'd take to add or change regions.

We use pattern. (pilotonline.com) But I don't like how the page collapses to a tablet or mobile view. I think it has the same basic problem that Nick described.

We have an OG image set to the correct size, and sometimes we still run into the problem Elizabeth's talking about. An image of the front page is pulled in instead of the OG image — and the front page image is small.

Yes! Lindy's suggestion would be incredibly helpful, too!

It's not just the first time, though. We're unable to successfully post stories to Facebook that we've already pushed through Debugger hours or days before. It happened this morning on a story that was posted via TCMS and shared on Facebook on Friday night. It could not be shared again on Facebook (at least, not with an image, headline and summary) without running it through debugger several times.

Yes, please! I'd love to have a preview option for article assets, too!

I had the same problems with Town News' customer service. After reporting problems for more than a month, a Town News rep finally said on Minday that yes, there is a problem. (Although they say it's Facebook's problem, not theirs, and there's no ETA on when it might be fixed.)

We've had a lot of issues with Facebook lately, too. Images, headlines and summaries may or may not be pulled in accurately. To get everything to show up correctly, we're running stories through debugger 2 to 5 times.

I know how the work-around works, and we use it often, but it takes more time and clicks than flipping the order of a few child assets. I'm trying to improve efficiencies. TCMS and Blox already are very click-heavy applications. I'm looking for ways to make the system faster and easier to use. This is one way.
