I like the sound of the built in "template" feature.

This came up in a meeting here this morning. We would still really like this functionality extended.

The specific use case that came up today would be customizing the email a reader gets when purchasing a Day Pass to include a promotional rate for a full subscription.

We're on Flex but don't have that one. I'm sure they've added different defaults through the years that don't get retroactively added to existing sites. No biggie now that I know the functionality is there.

We don't have that block in our system, but thank you for confirming it is possible to get the breadcrumbs into the Utility region. That's what I wanted to know before I spent a lot of time messing with it.

There is a default breadcrumb block titled: "Section | Utility: Page heading | Dynamic"

This is used on all our section pages, however the utility regions won't accept it.

There obviously won't be a one-size-fits-all solution so configurability will be key.

I like what you've laid out as far as the text left behind.

The thinking behind the limited time to edit (and/or delete) is to prevent someone from changing the context of their comments later. We also want to hold people accountable. We require "real names" on commenting and have a long standing policy of not removing comments that users make.

Not being able to fix typos is a complaint we get often, but we also don't want to allow people to make inflammatory comments and cover their tracks later. Knowing that if you post it there is no going back helps keep a level of decorum in the comments.

I'd like to see the ability to edit within a limiting time frame, such as five minutes. This allows users to fix typos without trying to sneak back and change context later.

We're not using the App yet, but that sounds like a good idea.
