It would be great if the slide deck (Power Point) was included for download as well. A simple PDF would be great to share with my staff who doesn't have the time or desire to watch the actual recording.

Yes! This 100 times. I've been meaning to post about it as well.

For us the most important part would be having the "Slug" column stick without having to re-enable it every single time.

Thanks for the update Christine.

I like the thought of the "other" fields, even after adding these more current options.

That way a user on some obscure or new platform could display it on their profile before official support is added.

I came to post ask about this same thing. I assume this means there is no way to customize the email that users receive after submitting a form?

We would really love the ability to be able to do so.

Good suggestion Erica. We don't actually have staffers using Instagram, but I'm all for keeping the profile options updated and current.

I've long wished that Town News would maintain a "live demo" site that customers could log into and play around. It could automatically wipe/reset every week or month or something, but would provide a playground to really push the limits with no fear of breaking something on a production site.

Thanks Christine, that seems to be one of the most "open" ways of handling it from what I've seen.

If anyone has other thoughts or examples please share them.

I've had this discussion both at work and at home (my wife is a wedding photographer) and have yet to come up with a great solution.

I'm definitely interested to hear the thoughts from others on the best way to handle it.

Thanks for your thoughts Nick.

I guess it would come down to how much revenue is being generated by the local advertisers.

With Ad Block becoming more and more prolific (I personally use it just about everywhere except our own site) it is only a matter of time before advertisers start losing a significant portion of eyeballs anyways. Studies already show that traditional online ads like banners are ineffective.

At least with this approach additional revenue could be generated. Maybe there could be specific "sponsorship" ad locations that wouldn't be removed.
