We have a special Black Friday E-edition that we can't get to process and appear. Do we have access to a way to force this to process?
Peggy,
You should open a customer support ticket when you have issues, the community forum is not the place to look for support.
support.townnews.com would be where you submit your ticket with all your details, including your domain and the publication you are trying to upload.
thanks,

I am having trouble with posting an e-edition.
I am having trouble with an e-edition. I have sent the files twice and nothing is showing up on the back end. Can anyone help with this? I use to be able to push the job manually but I can't find that option anymore. Help?

Un-escaped ampersands in media URLs in google_newsstand feed
BLOX seems to have a bug where ampersands in media URLs are not escaped in the altf=google_newsstand version of the feed. The altf=verve_full version has them escaped properly with "&" but not the google_newsstand version. This causes it to fail XML validation and not get parsed by feed readers.
TownNews: I see you have fixed this issue in previous software releases for other feed versions (https://townnews.com/releases/software_releases/flex-templates-software-release---tues-sept-25th-2-00-pm-cdt/article_2abe4da6-bda8-11e8-a444-7f76286bc38c.html and https://townnews.com/releases/software_releases/blox-template-release---oct-7-2014---oct-9-2014/article_c46fb2fc-4d70-11e4-93ab-afa78a5be736.html) but it still needs to be fixed for google_news feeds.
Seeking advice for a workflow solution
We're looking at making move to a more streamlined content management and publishing system. I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terminology there. We're happy with Town News. But currently, we spend a lot of time at our organization discussing story ideas, assigning them, editing, etc. We're looking for a tool (Have I missed this as part of Town News' offerings?) where a writer can be assigned a story/or choose from a selection of topics, receive a deadline, submit the story, allow an editor to be assigned and then, ultimately, schedule a post to BLOX. Or some similar process. Is anyone familiar with a tool that will help us manage/automate the publishing workflow?
Chrome login
Using Google Chrome, blox requires I re-authenticate the browser with every login instead of recognizing this is a device/browser I have logged in from before and am going to log in from regularly. Can you please patch this bug?
Feature Request: Form Submission -> Form Views Delete Button
It would be nice to have a Delete button on the Form Viewer in order to mark a form submission for 'deletion'

Feature Request: Hard delete for file attachments on form submissions
People (and spammers) can upload the oddest things when file attachments are allowed on a form submission.
Since these file attachments can be viewed by anonymous users on the internet it would be nice to have a hard delete method available in the Form Submissions area of bloxCMS.
Feature Request: Add word wrap ability to HTML Block Editor
It's not often that I need to edit HTML on Blox, but when I do it would be very useful to have the option to word wrap so I can see my code while making quick edits. At the very least a Maximize button would be cool too. Of course if I am doing more vigorous work I would use a 3rd-Party notepad; however I find myself using this HTML block more and more often. Thanks for your consideration. I have placed a prototype image below.

Separate alt text field for images
Can you add an field for alt text in images? Right now, the system picks up the title as alt text, but we want to use alt text that is more detailed than a title would be. I know people have asked for this in the past. What's the status?
Ordering Pinned Assets
Hi everyone!
We've been kicking around an idea for pinned assets and I'd love to get your feedback.
Presently, and as you may already be aware, pinned assets default the top of a block. Multiple pinned items can be sorted / reordered.
We're considering a feature that would allow designers access to drag/drop pinned assets to whichever order they want in a block, i.e., pin a single item to the third position as opposed to the top (default).
We're looking for feedback!
Have you struggled with this before?
Would you use this feature?
Feature request: "Read More" page break to put content in front/behind paywall
Would like a feature where we can insert a sort of page break in-line into an article asset in Blox that would put everything before the break in front of the paywall, and everything after it behind the paywall. So for instance, we could insert a "Read More" page break after the first 3-4 paragraphs of a story, so readers would be able to view those 3-4 paragraphs for free, but when they click on "Read More" they would be prompted to log into their existing account (if they weren't already logged in), or sign up for a subscription.
Drop Down Menu Changes
Can we make additions / changes to our drop down menu, or do we need to involve Town News and have them do it for us for a fee?
Feature request: Notifications for editors
Would it be possible to set up an automatic notification system where an editor receives some sort of notification/email when a reporter files a story and/or updates its status?
While we don't have an integrated notification system, we do fire webhook events during assets save, and in the new few weeks will be adding support for triggering webhooks when an asset changes workflow process.
We have some customers who use tools like Zapier to consume the webhooks and trigger an email or similar. If you have access to a basic developer, the would also be able to create a system to listen to them.
