Collection Pagination
Is there a customization that I am not seeing that paginates the number of articles associated with a collection? We are in the process of setting up topic pages but the number of articles is making the page very long and it would look better if it paginated after about 20 articles.

Updated Story Notifications

Bullets and other special characters
One of our publications uses bullets and other special characters in the print edition. Those characters are stripped out when content is loaded into Blox. How can we prevent that from happening?

Email Reach Mail List ID
You guys seriously need to make finding the ID more convenient.
Having to view the page source code to get the list ID is really bad administration.
It should be displayed as text under the edit list popup.
Just my 2 cents...

Banner ad issues
Has anyone else had problems with the banner ad admin recently? The position weighting option isn't working correctly (I can't get a locked percentage to actually save) and I've got other ads, that while they are running, they stopped tracking impressions. Just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this.

Blind reply for classifieds/ad owl
Wish there was a way to Blind reply to ads in adowl-like in craigslist or backpage.com. Of course users would still need to register as a real person but a blind reply would allow them to click one button to inquire to the seller or service provider without giving up their phone number or private email address right off the bat. With an option like that, our product would be on the same level but "spam free" and far superior to other online classifieds sites. Way easier for you to sell more companies on too :)

Hi Shiela!
Sorry I missed this question before. Can you give me a bit more information as to what you're trying to do? Are we talking about front-end users or admin users?
For Classified ads on the front end, we do have a "Save to list" feature that allows users to create lists of their favorite ads. Once they create a list, they can go to the User Dashboard to see all their lists there:

Once they go to the list, as I show above, there is a print button on the right of the list title. That will allow them to print ad listings at once.
This is great for Garage Sales, for example, or houses.

Integrated AdOwl with the User Dashboard, so a user can edit their classified ad.
At this time AdOwl is not integrated with the User Dashboard, so a user can not edit their AdOwl ad. Will TownNews change this, so users can edit their classified ad content?

Hi Lonnie!
If your users are logged in when they place an ad through Ad Owl, the ads are automatically associated to their user account. If they are associated to their user account, we can show them in the User Dashboard. You have to enable a specific option for this feature to be enabled (you can ask our Customer Support team for help on this).

Note that this will NOT affect the Ad Owl print submission - only the online classified ad.
Let me know if this makes sense or if you have more questions!

Confused about mobile ad positions
I'm confused about how to make the mobile ad positions work correctly. We are selling a mobile banner 300x50 position for the footer ad. It is to be on the homepage of devices and also on article devices. It seems as if you have to load the ad two different times once for the homepage and once for the the article pages, at least if you then want to adjust percentages on each position.
Does anyone else have this issue? How are you running ads in the mobile positions?

How do I move or add banner ad space in the blox cms?
I want to add a banner that will remain static (not rotate with other banner ads) on the side rail. I can't see how to move existing ad spaces or create new ones. Help?

You can't really "move" ad regions since they are built into the page. This is actually intentional, to avoid an over-zealous City Editor from deleting on the ad spots he didn't like or something. =)
See a map of the available regions here:
http://docs.townnews.com/kbpublisher/Ad-Region-Map...
However, you can very easily ad more "positions" into an available ad region, even if it is already in use. This way, you can target a new ad just to that position, and if it is the only ad assigned to that position, it would not rotate with other ads.
To add another position, go to your Banner Ad application, and click on the settings panel (gear in upper right corner). You'll get the ad regions manager:

Edit the region where you would like to add another position, and change it to "2" or more.
Then, use the position targeting to assign your add to the new position in that region. Like so:

The ads rotate separate in the in-story1 versus the in-story2 ad positions. So, if only one ad were assigned to in-story2, it would not rotate.
I'll go ahead and mark this as answered, but let me know if this doesn't make sense! =)

Additional tabbed regions
The URL custom properties for displaying tabbed regions allows three different positions for displaying the tabbed regions in the right sidebar, but only one option (in center-one-index at the top of the page) in the main column (the 620px left column on our wireframe).
We would find it useful to have the option of placing a tabbed region in other positions in the main column — for example center-one-index, center-four-index, center-seven-index or center-ten-index.
