Integrated AdOwl with the User Dashboard, so a user can edit their classified ad.
At this time AdOwl is not integrated with the User Dashboard, so a user can not edit their AdOwl ad. Will TownNews change this, so users can edit their classified ad content?

Hi Lonnie!
If your users are logged in when they place an ad through Ad Owl, the ads are automatically associated to their user account. If they are associated to their user account, we can show them in the User Dashboard. You have to enable a specific option for this feature to be enabled (you can ask our Customer Support team for help on this).
Note that this will NOT affect the Ad Owl print submission - only the online classified ad.
Let me know if this makes sense or if you have more questions!

Confused about mobile ad positions
I'm confused about how to make the mobile ad positions work correctly. We are selling a mobile banner 300x50 position for the footer ad. It is to be on the homepage of devices and also on article devices. It seems as if you have to load the ad two different times once for the homepage and once for the the article pages, at least if you then want to adjust percentages on each position.
Does anyone else have this issue? How are you running ads in the mobile positions?

How do I move or add banner ad space in the blox cms?
I want to add a banner that will remain static (not rotate with other banner ads) on the side rail. I can't see how to move existing ad spaces or create new ones. Help?

You can't really "move" ad regions since they are built into the page. This is actually intentional, to avoid an over-zealous City Editor from deleting on the ad spots he didn't like or something. =)
See a map of the available regions here:
http://docs.townnews.com/kbpublisher/Ad-Region-Map...
However, you can very easily ad more "positions" into an available ad region, even if it is already in use. This way, you can target a new ad just to that position, and if it is the only ad assigned to that position, it would not rotate with other ads.
To add another position, go to your Banner Ad application, and click on the settings panel (gear in upper right corner). You'll get the ad regions manager:
Edit the region where you would like to add another position, and change it to "2" or more.
Then, use the position targeting to assign your add to the new position in that region. Like so:
The ads rotate separate in the in-story1 versus the in-story2 ad positions. So, if only one ad were assigned to in-story2, it would not rotate.
I'll go ahead and mark this as answered, but let me know if this doesn't make sense! =)

Additional tabbed regions
The URL custom properties for displaying tabbed regions allows three different positions for displaying the tabbed regions in the right sidebar, but only one option (in center-one-index at the top of the page) in the main column (the 620px left column on our wireframe).
We would find it useful to have the option of placing a tabbed region in other positions in the main column — for example center-one-index, center-four-index, center-seven-index or center-ten-index.

Map Tab Idea
It would be nice if the current map could be displayed in a larger version. Similar to the way the images get loaded into a tab.

images with ad reports
Why are the images not showing up with the ad reports anymore? When we used to run reports it would have an image of the ad creative that went with that ad. We had advertisers that need/used that for co-op with their advertising. Can we have those images back on the reports?

Article Location Map
The number of characters for the latitude and longitude need to be increased. Currently your system rounds the numbers to the nearest fifth decimal place.
Recently we had an issue with this as we were trying to display a map to the location where a train struck a pedestrian. When we input the longitude and latitude (with seven decimal places) and clicked the view button the preview showed the correct location. When we saved the article and previewed the resulting map was 8 streets from the railroad track.
In the same line of thought it might be useful to give us a way to override the default zoom level.

We've had customers ask or call when they lose information they've entered in a form, and especially calendar events. Is there a way they could save information as they are entering it?

DFA Video Ads
We've been wanting to start adding video content to the site (other than NDN players) and looking at ways to pay for that. So far the ad campaign's we've been offered are all DFA (doubleclick for advertisers api) based pre/mid/post roll ads.
In these cases the advertisers are supplying javascript which is not currently supported in the default video blocks and having them supply flv files is not an option.
Will you be adding DFA support in the near future?

Searching for businesses in the ad reports part of statistics
There needs to be an easier way of searching or finding the businesses when trying to set up a business report by position in the statistics admin. The businesses are just listed in the order they've had ads run and it makes it hard to find a business. If it was to sort alphabetically or even better be able to type into the search box it would be a big help.
